After School Clubs

Spring Term's After School Clubs

In addition to Homework club and Breakfast club we have lots of new exciting opportunities for your children to take part in after school. All existing sports clubs have now finished for this term.  Below is a brief overview of the different clubs we have available and to make it even better all after school clubs are FREE! (With the exception of Homework and Breakfast club).  Due to low attendance from Key Stage 1 these clubs are available for children in year 3 to 6 only.

Reading club

At this club children will be able to enjoy the library, share a book with a friend or read by themselves. Staff will be on hand to hear your child read and provide support for those wanting to improve.

Art Club

The children will develop their sketching and drawing skills whilst completing a different art project each week.

Lego Club

The children have voted and asked for a Lego club and we have listened. An exciting new club for Spring term.

Drama

Drama club will continue for those children who already have a part in the production and there are still a few roles to fill. Children will develop their confidence as they take part in a variety of singing, dancing and drama activities.

Singing club

The children will learn a variety of songs and will contribute to the Drama club production of Aladdin.

Football

Children will learn basic skills and how to play as a team. Please ensure that children come to school with their PE kit with suitable shoes and a drink of water.

Year 3/4 Dodgeball

Children will learn the basics of this fast paced game that improves co-ordination and agility. Children should wear PE kit and suitable shoes. They should also bring a water bottle.

Year 3 /4 Cooking Club

Children will develop basic skills in the kitchen and cook up a storm each week. Please provide a suitable container to take food home in.
