This week your challenge is to write your own Portal story in which the main character is your teacher! Where does the portal take them to? How do they get through it? What does it look like through the portal? Will your teacher have an exciting adventure with a happy ending or will they face danger through the portal? Send your portal stories through the email addresses and we will share our favourites on Facebook and in the Gallery.
It is important during this time that we keep our brains and bodies healthy. There are lots of ways to do this whilst following the government’s guidance. Here are 3 things to focus on this week.
- Listen to music: Music is closely linked to our emotions and can often trigger different memories. Music can be calming or uplifting. Experiment this week and explore different musical styles.
- Explore nature: On your daily walk see if you can spot new signs of spring. How many different birds can you spot? What different trees and flowers do you notice? We are often too busy to notice the beauty around us.
- Learn a Language: The Duolingo website and App offers a free step by step approach to learning a variety of different languages, you will be surprised how quickly you will pick it up with only 10 minutes a day, a great way to boost your brain and have fun.
We love seeing what you have been getting up to at home, please keep sending in your photographs!
