At our school every child matters and we strive to ensure that all our children are well cared for and enjoy learning in a happy and safe environment. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum focusing on active learning which ensures that all of our pupils regardless of background or need, leave us equipped with the academic, social and emotional skills required for a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.
Aspiration – being full of hope for something better and working hard to make it happen.
Inclusion – we value diversity; everyone feels safe and has a sense of belonging.

On behalf of all the staff, pupils and Trustees I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Crossley Hall Primary School…a place where every child’s individuality is nurtured and celebrated. Our website will provide you with a range of information and a snapshot of our school.
We are a larger than average primary school, we have three classes per year group, totaling 710 children on roll and over 100 staff, including our own 2 year old and 3 year old nursery. We are also very proud of having a Resourced Provision which caters for children with communication needs including Autism.
At CHPS we are committed to providing an inclusive, language rich and experiential curriculum. Our children are supported, guided and challenged in every lesson through high quality teaching and learning.
Throughout the Crossley learning journey, we encourage all children to love learning, work hard and relish the challenges that new learning brings whilst making the happiest of memories. We focus on giving our children every opportunity to reach their full potential and become the best that they can be.
We firmly believe that children thrive best when home and school are working together in partnership. We pride ourselves on developing positive relationships between parents, staff and pupils alike. We encourage all our parents to play an active role in their child’s education and join us in having high aspirations for their child.
Crossley Hall is a school that the local community are proud of and we look forward to meeting you soon.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me if you have anything you wish to discuss.
