Welcome to Reception

Click here to meet Miss Holbeck!

Hello, My name is Miss Holbeck and I will be the new reception teacher for Cats class. As a new member of staff at Crossley Hall Primary School, I am extremely excited to be given the opportunity to teach reception. To give you some brief information about myself, I have worked in Bradford schools since graduating in 2016 with my degree in Early Years Education. The bulk of my experience has been teaching in Year 1 and Reception. I have spent the past school year on supply since returning home from an around the world trip. During my time of supply, I gained a lot of new ideas and experience from other local schools in Bradford, one being Crossley Hall Primary. After 6 enjoyable weeks on supply in Ducklings in 2020 I knew I wanted to come back. During my spare time I enjoy, travel, music and spending time with friends and family, including my young nieces and nephews. In school I enjoy being busy at the creative table, I’m sure we can make lots of lovely pictures together! I also enjoy sharing stories, I can’t wait to find out which books you like so we can read and enjoy them together. One of my favourite stories is ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’, I think Julia Donaldson is a fantastic author.  I’m looking forward to meeting you all soon and can’t wait for all the fun we will have in Cats!
